Closed Beta 2.0 opens with an invite-only model designed to grow intentionally through community.

Each beta user receives five invites to share, ensuring that early growth reflects the creators, fans, and moderators who truly believe in the platform’s vision.

Anyone can still claim their PlayTag, the identity every user needs to chat, follow creators, and participate in platform engagement. (A PlayTag is required to join chat or interact on streams.)

Introducing Louie™ v1

Louie™ v1 is the first step in SharePlay’s long-term AI roadmap, a foundational release focused on helping users discover content, understand what’s happening on the platform, and create safe, enjoyable communities.

What’s new in this release:

• AI Discovery: surfaces streams based on engagement quality, not just follower count.
  
• Orientation: highlights who is live, trending, or rising so new users know where to start.
